If anyone had asked me at the age of seven what adult life consisted of I would have said Bridge games and cask wine. These days this is not so far from reality. I live in a small town with my husband and son.
My interests include: handbuilt houses, sand dunes, wildflowers, birdcalls, pulp fiction, cult fiction, LA fiction, YA fiction, modern art, Utopias, concepts of community, post-war American fiction, Hollywood in the twenties, beachcombing, driftwood sculpture, screenprinting, accidental art, cooking, kitchen gardens, book trafficking, op shops, palm trees, sky-goggling and reinvention. I am writing my third book. It looks like it’s going to be about Shakespeare and runaways.
